Look for the sign

You’ve probably driven past one this week.

The little teal sign turns up in front yards from Sam Bass to Brushy Creek to Forest Creek. We don’t plant it everywhere — only the yards where the customer asked us to. Forty-one years of word-of-mouth, signed in cursive by the same guy who’s been on the truck since 1984.

What we do

Lawn care thatactually shows

Pick one service or all of them. We do the boring foundational work right so the lawn keeps looking good between visits.

Weekly Mowing

Same morning, same crew, sharp blades. Front, back, side — edged and blown clean before we leave the driveway.

starts at $45 · per visit

Edging & Trimming

A clean line between lawn and driveway is half the curb appeal. We power-edge it every visit, not every fourth.

quoted on-site

Bed Maintenance

Hand-pulled weeds, fresh mulch at the right depth, and seasonal pruning timed to each plant — not the calendar.

starts at $95 · per visit

Spring & Fall Cleanups

The two big resets. Beds, edges, leaves, sticks, dead growth — out. Lawn ready for the season.

starts at $85 · per visit

Sprinkler Repair & Tune-Ups

Texas-licensed irrigator (LI0018410). Spring start-ups, summer adjustments, broken heads, leaks, controllers — we fix it.

starts at $95 · per visit

Mulch Installation

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — bulk-delivered, hand-spread to a consistent 2 to 3 inches.

starts at $95 · per visit

Patios, Walkways & Stone Work

Limestone, flagstone, and concrete pavers — set on proper base so they stay level a decade in.

starts at $1800 · per visit

Bermuda, zoysia, or St. Augustine — graded, laid tight-seam, rolled in, and a real watering schedule on paper.

starts at $750 · per visit

Forty years on Sam Bass Road

Jeff has watched your trees grow up.

Round Rock looked different in 1984. The yards Jeff mowed back then still had saplings. A lot of them are oaks now. He’s mowed under them every spring since.

  1. The 80s 1984

Jeff starts mowing yards out of a pickup on Sam Bass Road. Round Rock is 12,000 people. He buys his first commercial mower used.

  2. The 90s 1992

Adds sprinkler repair after watching too many lawns fail because nobody fixed the broken heads. Earns the Texas irrigator license.

  3. The 00s 2004

Builds out hardscape — flagstone walks, paver patios, dry-stacked limestone. The Williamson County clay teaches him patience with base prep.

  4. The 10s 2014

Round Rock hits 100,000 people. Half of Jeff’s customers are still the originals. He still pulls into the same driveways every Tuesday.

  5. Now Today

Forty-plus years in. Same phone number, same crew size, same answer when you call: Jeff, on the truck, between mows.

How it works

Three steps,no hassle

We try to make hiring us boring in the best way — predictable, quiet, easy to explain to your spouse.

  1. Walk the property

We come out, listen to what you want, and look at what the lawn actually needs. No high-pressure quotes, no surprises.

  2. Quote on the spot

You get a flat per-visit price the same day. That number is what shows up on the invoice — no add-ons.

  3. Same crew, every week

Once we start, the same two-person crew shows up the same morning every week. Quiet, on-time, gate latched.

Honest pricing — yes, the pun is on purpose

What Jeff actually charges.

Most lawn websites hide the number. We don’t. Forty years in Round Rock and we’ve never won a customer by being the cheapest — we keep them by being the same price next year, and the year after that.
